NEW HOPE

A Docuseries

History, Education, Conservation, Preservation & Enhancement

  • Centered at New Hope Plantation in Brunswick, GA, this docuseries will show viewers how focusing on conservation, preservation, and enhancement can result in responsible growth.

During the run of the show, we intend to maintain a theme of three key concepts: Preservation, Enhancement, and Conservation.

These concepts will be woven throughout the series in an organic, logical way, while never overpowering the story that each episode is telling.

  • History (Preservation of history - Acknowledging the past and Honoring the former slaves of New Hope Foundation)

True Crime (Tragedy hits New Hope)

Nature (The effects of Rice Farming, examine the scope and scale of the former slave’s work & Preservation of the Marshes as an ecological system)

Coastal College (examining Conservation & Education through the dedication of a major area to college environmental research.)

Film Studio (The new film studio’s commitment to Responsible Growth & Enhancement)

  • The team leading the documentary is led by award-winning storytellers, filmmakers, and documentarians.

Award-winning Producer Michelle Sligh, Producer & Best-selling Author Yani M Payne.

Multi-award-winning cinematographer David Wright is attached as our Director of Photography.
