  • Emerging star and Assyrian-American Actress, Lovina Hermez, brings her original New Adult, Action/Drama series to ITSOAK Development Enterprises. ITSOAK Founder Yani M Payne will work side-by-side with Hermez to develop and write the pilot script, full-season story arc, and packaging for this exciting project.

  • The purpose of this show is to reignite an interest in an ancient and genuinely marginalized culture.
So many modern film and television productions that deal with or are centered around ancient historical societies are often limited to Greek, Roman, or Egyptian cultures, legends, lore, and mythology.
Yet, the Assyrian culture, celebrating its 6,773rd birthday on April 1, 2023, has been relegated to the nearly silent past.
An amazing culture with an ancient history that’s rarely portrayed in any major films or television shows. Hermez, being of Assyrian descent, intends to change that dynamic and bring the culture back to light through a highly entertaining and engaging TV series.

  • • Potentially reach millions of viewers around the world
    • Create an entertaining hook that brings attention to the positive and amazing parts of Assyrian culture and acknowledges the warrior spirit.
    • Strong potential to engage a whole new generation of young adults who will demand more content about Assyrian culture, myths, legends, etc.
    • Give today's Assyrian culture a platform to stand behind and alongside and create a new, better world by uniquely honoring the past.

  • Hermez and Payne will work together to honor the culture by engaging with historians, authors, and leaders throughout the development process. Hermez will create the story, while Payne works with her throughout to craft a completed and commercially viable series pilot.
Additionally, Payne will be leading all development-producing aspects including Pitch Deck creation, pilot script breakdown, development-stage budget, early-stage talent communications, overseeing business aspects, brand and marketing strategy, et cetera.
